Social Agent Board Game

Social Agent Board Game

Project description:
Challenge: Corporate social responsibility and corporate philanthropy often seem like abstract concepts to stakeholders outside the business environment — particularly to nonprofits, young people, and educational communities. Companies must consistently explain the essence of their social impact activities and how these efforts contribute to systemic change. There was a need for a tool that could clearly and interactively demonstrate the role each individual plays in sustainable societal development, fostering a culture of responsibility both within and beyond the corporate environment.
Solution: Leading tech companies MacPaw and N-iX created Social Agent — a board game that uses interactive elements, teamwork, and real-life examples to teach and illustrate the principles of corporate social responsibility, volunteering, and philanthropy. The game is designed for classrooms, interactive sessions, training programs, and corporate team building. It combines educational and entertaining elements, making complex concepts both accessible and practical.
Result: The project received strong support and positive feedback from experts, businesses, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, and the media. To scale its impact, MacPaw and N-iX launched an open call for educational institutions, NGOs, youth centers, and libraries. Within 12 hours, 30 organizations from 6 regions submitted applications.
The Social Agent game is used by educators, trainers, and corporate teams to develop an understanding of the social role of business and increase community engagement.
