Proud Hundreds Program

Proud Hundreds Program

Project description:

Challenge: Female students in Türkiye often choose socially accepted vocational fields like child development, avoiding technical majors such as electronics or machinery. CCI identified a lack of qualified women in supply chain, sales, and finance, and low female representation in leadership due to limited access to internships, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

Solution: CCI launched the Proud Hundreds Program to increase women’s employment in CCI through vocational scholarships, internships, online training, mentorship, forklift training, and digital skills development. The program engages CCI volunteers and partners with NGOs to support women across multiple career pathways.

Result: By mid-2025, 484 women benefited, among them 165 were employed, 312 received training, and 63 joined internships. The program aims to reach 600 women by 2028. Participants gained career readiness, confidence, and access to CCI’s work culture through mentorship, factory visits, and role model sessions.
