Accessible DILA

Accessible DILA

Project description:
Challenge: The full-scale invasion became a pivotal moment for reassessing many of the company’s strategic approaches — not only in terms of business, but also with regard to its values, brand identity, and relationships with both clients and colleagues. Since 2024, the company has been steadily implementing its own initiative, “Accessible DILA.” The project’s mission is to create an environment that is fully accessible and free of barriers for people with disabilities, those with permanent or temporary functional limitations, individuals recovering from injury or illness, expectant mothers, children, and older people.
Solution: Company branches are equipped with ramps, Braille signage, high-contrast markings, and other navigational aids. Since October 2023, the “Zustrich” project has supported the reintegration of veterans returning to their workplaces. The initiative includes discounted medical examinations, free sessions with a psychologist, legal assistance, mentoring and training, as well as competency assessments. Service standards are being improved through training in respectful communication and interaction aligned with the values of accessibility, inclusion, and diversity. Since January 2025, a job vacancy audit has been conducted to identify which positions can be filled by people with disabilities and, most importantly, which health conditions do not present a barrier to performing essential job functions.
Result: During the project, more than 180 branches across over 20 cities and towns in the country have undergone accessibility assessments. A full list of accessible branches, along with their addresses, is available on the LUN Barrier-Free Map and on the DILA website in the “step-free access” section. A job vacancies audit has been conducted across ten departments, including Production, Medical Services, the Contact Centre, Marketing, and several others. For each role, essential competencies, potential functional limitations, required working conditions, and necessary workplace adaptations needed to accommodate individual needs have been identified. More than 1,500 employees have taken part in training sessions. As part of the “Zustrich” project, eight veterans have successfully returned to their positions.
