Vanessa Hans
Director of Private Sector at the Basel Institute on Governance

The Institute is an independent not-for-profit center of excellence working globally to strengthen governance and fight corruption. Vanessa’s work focuses on corporate governance and anti-corruption compliance projects as well as Collective Action initiatives. She also has experience advising companies on corporate social responsibility and international development strategies. She was previously the Executive Director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the Philippines. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal and a Masters in Corporate Social Responsibility from the University of Nottingham.

Richard Pearl
Advisory Council Member - Harvard University Division of Continuing Education Dean's Industry Advisory Council Senior Advisor - UN Global Compact Network USA

Pearl previously served on the board of Network USA for five years, including three as chair. In addition to his work with the Network, Pearl provides private consulting services to companies developing or enhancing their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programs. He also serves as an executive advisor to the Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship. Pearl was State Street Corporation’s global corporate responsibility officer for over 20 years. Prior to that, he had several diverse roles in the newspaper, wireless telephony, and early Internet commerce spheres.

Dr. Paroma Bhattacharya
Head of Social Innovation, LSE Generate

Paroma leads on social innovation, overseeing research and programme delivery. Paroma has a PhD in Management and her research interests include social business model innovation in emerging economies, social venture teams and social innovation ecosystems. She has taught courses in social entrepreneurship at LSE, the Indian School of Design and Innovation Parsons, Mumbai. She’s also a researcher-in-residence at a menstrual hygiene social enterprise in Kenya.

LJ Silverman, MBE
Head of LSE Generate

LJ leads LSE Generate, having built this award-winning hub from scratch in 2018. She manages the entrepreneurship centre in London and its 20 international chapters across the globe. LJ developed a unique mentorship programme that is focused on regenerative education and now extends to support secondary and primary school entrepreneurial minds all over the world. She’s passionate about inclusivity and mental health, which are reflected in the awards Generate has won over the years.

Delia Ferreira Rubio
Member of the Global Future Council on Good Governance of the World Economic Forum; Member of the Advisory Council of the Institute for Ethics and Transparency of the AmCham Argentina.

Works as an independent consultant, and has authored numerous publications on Transparency and Anti-corruption, Political Corruption, Private sector integrity, Public Ethics and Comparative Politics, among other subjects. 

Antonio Hautle
Executive Director of the UN Global Compact Network Switzerland & Liechtenstein

Prior to his appointment to this position, he was Director of Fastenopfer (Swiss Catholic Lenten Fund) from 2001 to 2013 and Director of the Department of Social Affairs and Society for the State of Lucerne until 2015. Antonio has a background in Philosophy, Business Ethics and Catholic Theology (Elève titulaire, Ecole Biblique et Archéologique Française Jérusalem, Master Pontificia Università Gregoriana, Rome) and holds a Master in Business Administration from the HEC University of Geneva.
