Youth make decisions

Project description:
The Russian war in Ukraine has caused serious damage to infrastructure and significant economic losses. This has created an urgent need to train a new generation of professionals who will be able to effectively participate in the country’s reconstruction and support its sustainable development. It is especially important to implement innovative solutions that meet modern challenges, such as energy efficiency, environmental protection, and climate change adaptation. «Youth Make Decisions» project was created in response to these challenges.
Educational events were organized with more than 500 participants from 10 regions of Ukraine involved. They included lectures, workshops, and interactive games aimed at developing skills in the following areas:
- Energy efficiency and energy saving: during the classes, participants learn ways to reduce energy consumption, rules for the rational use of energy resources, the introduction of “green” technologies, and the reduction of CO2 emissions.
Biodiversity conservation and environmental protection: includes interactive games and webinars on protecting natural resources and restoring ecosystems affected by military operations.

Educational institutions: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, National Aviation University, Center for Comprehensive Rehabilitation for Children and Persons with Disabilities in Solomianskyi District of Kyiv, Lyceum No. 88 in Pecherskyi District of Kyiv, Slavuta Gymnasium “Uspich”, and other educational institutions of various types; Natural parks: Northern Podillia National Park, Nizhniodnistrovsky National Park, Small Polissia National Park, Kremenets Mountains National Park, and Holosiivskyi National Park; Natural landscape parks: «Pivnichne Podillya»; «Nyzhniodnistrovskyi»; «Male Polissya»; «Kremenetski Hory»; «Holosiivskyi».
