Project description:

Ukrainian defenders are constantly in need of tactical medical supplies and blood components in hot spots. Hence, FUIB initiated the social project, We Are of One Blood, to support Ukrainian small business and art, promote donor initiatives and help the wounded. 

This is a large-scale partnership project with more than 30 partners: public organizations, illustrators, brands, stores, exhibition organizers and a football club. Half of the cost of each order of patriotic Ukrainian merch is transferred to the DonorUA NGO, Blood Agents and Hospitaliers.

The collected funds are directed to meeting the needs in blood donations, delivery of blood components to hot spots, purchase of tactical medicine for Ukrainian soldiers and equipment for emergency paramedics. Ukrainians support the project not only by ordering patriotic merch, but also by donating blood at donor centers.

The bank’s initiative has already collected UAH 5 million. Funds are directed to the following: 55 deliveries of blood to hot spots; 2 low-temperature freezers for blood plasma storage; more than 3,000 means of tactical medicine (hemostatic bandages and tourniquets, occlusive stickers, hemostatic bandages, etc.); 4 patient monitors for emergency paramedics. Altogether, this means tens of thousands of saved lives.

More than 1,500 Ukrainians have become donors, providing hope for the recovery of 4,500 people. More than 10,000 Ukrainians took part in the project, and 13 million UAH were used to support Ukrainian business and art.
