Project description:
This project is dedicated to providing essential humanitarian support for the restoration and reconstruction of critical infrastructure and delivering necessary medical equipment to healthcare facilities.
Servier through the Mecenat Servier Charity Fund has donated 12 mln euros to meet emergency humanitarian needs, rebuilding the two hospitals in Chernihiv and Bohdanivka village, financing the construction of a wing dedicated to neurosurgical oncology at the National Cancer Institute in Kyiv, financing the creation of the first robotic pharmacy department to prepare chemotherapy infusions for patients undergoing cancer treatment at the National Cancer Institute, purchasing of the panoramic tissue scanner for Ohmatdyt children’s hospital, bone densitometer for Kharkiv traumatology hospital, two vehicles and two telecommunication kits for Medvyn community.
Finalized projects:
- The Panoramic tissue scanner introduces a new, high-quality diagnostic approach for doctors and young patients, enabling the examination of tumors in children through the immunohistochemical method. This advanced technology helps determine the malignancy level, directly influencing treatment decisions and outcomes.
- Telemedicine equipment helps to overcome geographical limitations, providing access to medical consultations and expert medical diagnostics for residents of Medvyn.
The availability of densitometers has significantly affected the accuracy and level of diagnosis of the state of the bone system at all stages of treatment and rehabilitation of patients in Kharkiv and the Kharkiv region, especially patients with damage to the bone system as a result of a mine-explosive injury.
