Tailors School of Tailoring and Design

Tailors School of Tailoring and Design

Project description:
During the implementation of the “STIYIKIST.UA” project, the company faced several challenges that required not only creative solutions but also incredible resilience from both participants and organizers. The biggest challenge, of course, is the war conditions. The constant threat of missile strikes and artillery shelling has had a significant impact on the course of the project. To successfully implement the “STIYIKIST.UA” project, the organization adapted to wartime conditions, ensuring continuous work even during power outages and missile strikes.
The “STIYIKIST.UA” project resulted in a unique sustainable clothing collection, consisting of 50 pieces adorned with watercolor embroidery elements that depict 15 flowers listed in Ukraine’s Red Data Book.
The project also produced a photo exhibition, “STALIST.UA,” featuring 50 photographs that tell the story of the project and its participants. The first fashion show of the collection, “STIYIKIST.UA – Conscious Fashion with Purpose,” took place in August as part of the Kyiv Fashion International Exhibition. On the eve of International Deaf Day, the collection and photo exhibition were showcased at Art Ukraine Gallery, the first and largest charity contemporary art gallery in Ukraine and the world.
