Supporting reintegration and economic security of veterans and their families

Supporting reintegration and economic security of veterans and their families

Project description:

One of the goals of Beetroot Academy is to make IT education accessible to all categories of citizens, including war veterans, their families, and families of fallen defenders of Ukraine. Some veterans and their family members need to change careers in order to return to civilian life/enhance their standard of living. This can be done by employing them in a digital/IT field accessible to all, with the possibility of working remotely, in particular for persons with disabilities.

Starting in 2023 until now they provide quality education to veterans and their families, as well as support them with further employment (there are already the first success stories). 2 project management groups and 1 programming group have already successfully completed their training. The company is currently recruiting 2 more cohorts, totaling more than 120 students. Groups showed a very high success rate, as well as a very strong motivation to study and find work. The Beetroot Academy is also recognized by the Veteran Hub as a Veteran Friendly Company.
