Project description:

Challenge: Over 2,900 MHP employees currently serve on the frontline, and 900 veterans are company employees. They confront injuries, the need for treatment and rehabilitation, as well as legal and psychological support. Further challenges include reskilling, professional reintegration, and restoring effective teamwork. The scale of these issues prompted MHP to launch “MHP Poruch” as a robust support framework for military personnel, veterans, and their families at every stage.

Solution: To support them and their families, MHP launched “MHP Poruch” in May 2023, operating across 13 regions of Ukraine. The program integrates diverse support areas: assistance to military units, legal, psychological, and medical aid, professional reintegration, reskilling, and upskilling. It also expands rehabilitation services for veterans, creates adaptive community spaces, and backs veteran-led enterprises. 

Result: MHP was included in Forbes’ ranking of the top 30 employers for veterans and recognized with international awards, including the Partnership for Sustainability Award 2024. Over three years, UAH 2.6 bn was paid to mobilized staff; 110 veteran businesses and 140 social initiatives were supported; 35 adaptive spaces were opened; 13 hospitals received rehabilitation roadmaps (“Vidnovleni” project); over 50 veterans were trained through the “Drone Operators” initiative and WebPromoExperts courses; and 1,824 employees completed the “NadLyudy” course, fostering a culture of veteran support in workplaces.
