School of Entrepreneurship

School of Entrepreneurship

Project description:

Challenge: The full-scale war forced hundreds of enterprises to relocate to the western part of Ukraine. National programs mainly support large businesses, while small and micro businesses have been overlooked. In these new conditions, entrepreneurs face a lack of financial resources, expertise, and connections, which threatens job losses. The situation has become especially difficult for women, who, after the mobilization of men, had to take on business development responsibilities without sufficient tools and support.

Solution: The School of Entrepreneurship has become a platform for integrating relocated and local businesses, bringing together educational programs, business forums, acceleration initiatives, and mentoring support. It also hosts the Spromozhna platform, aimed at strengthening the economic and social role of women both locally and nationwide. Entrepreneurs gain access to experts, practical tools, financing, and partnerships, enabling them to adapt their business models and ensure sustainable growth.

Result: Over 30,000 people have received business support. More than 10,000 events have been organized to foster entrepreneurship and innovation. Over 1,500 jobs have been created, driving economic growth in local communities. 60% of program participants are women, with at least 16% participating from abroad. A strong focus is placed on veterans and their families, supporting reintegration and renewed growth through business creation and acquiring new professional skills. The School of Entrepreneurship is a dynamic ecosystem that consistently demonstrates a positive impact on regional development and shows strong potential for scaling.
