School of Community Leaders

School of Community Leaders

Project description:
Challenge: Communities in Ukraine face a shortage of professional managers and leaders capable of creating and implementing systemic changes. Many ideas remain unrealized due to a lack of skills in project management, fundraising, and effective communication. This slows down development, reduces public trust, and limits opportunities for a sustainable future.
Solution: The educational and grant program “School of Community Leaders” unites the efforts of business, government, and the civic sector. Participants receive training in project management, leadership, and fundraising, as well as access to additional funding opportunities.
Result: Over 40 community representatives have completed training in project management, entrepreneurship, and fundraising, gaining knowledge and resources to implement ideas that improve their communities. Six communities received grants ranging from UAH 500,000 to 1 million for energy efficiency, youth development, and veteran support, ensuring sustainable local development.
