Project description:

Carlsberg Ukraine has partnered with the Veteran Hub NGO to create a program for the reintegration and socialization of veteran employees. At PJSC Carlsberg Ukraine, we currently have 84 mobilized employees and 9 veteran employees. Throughout the partnership, they achieved several accomplishments, including:

– Implemented an additional benefit to the collective agreement for demobilized employees, providing 30 days of paid leave.

– Conducted training for the HR team.

– Supported mobilized employees with payments

– Allowing veterans to work on flexible schedules or day shifts for manual professions during the adaptation period.

– Launched a Telegram channel for mobilized personnel, veterans and their families to exchange information, ask questions and receive valuable updates from the company.

– Created an internet page for mobilized personnel and veterans, containing useful contacts, an event calendar, and a Handbook with information about all the benefits available in the company.

– Planned an online meeting for all company employees with Veteran Hub in October to discuss how to prepare for a colleague’s return, sensitivity talks and related topics.

– Consulting with veterans to ensure our initiatives are moving in the right direction.

– Providing financial assistance from our Carlsberg Fund in case of injury for our colleagues.

– Providing opportunities such as webinars, training sessions and mentorship for colleagues who require training upon returning to work.

– Beginning the adaptation period for our colleagues from the moment of mobilization and remaining in constant communication.
