Project description:

Challenge: The company strives to preserve the gene pool of young Ukrainians and prepare leaders of the modern generation and demonstrate opportunities and prospects for education and development in the country, and equip active and socially responsible young people for life under martial law and in the post-war period. JSC Ukrainian Railways encourages young Ukrainians from around the world to see how young people live in Ukraine and what opportunities and prospects exist for returning home. In addition,  the company enables young Ukrainians to explore the work of JSC Ukrainian Railways in an informal and engaging format.

Solution: Four programs have been developed, including Long Shift, Boot Camp, Alumni Club, and Homecoming. There is a transparent selection of participants among talented Ukrainian youth (13-17 years old) with a social component from Ukraine and democratic countries of the world. All programs include educational blocks aimed at developing modern hard and soft skills necessary for future leaders, such as patriotic education, sports, IT, project management, financial literacy, English, AI, media literacy, etc. The project is free for participants.

Result: The project has over 5,000 graduates, with 260 new ones joining every month. The project community does not stop after the camps and keeps learning in different cities, bringing graduates together for monthly gatherings and meetings both online and offline through the Alumni Club.
