Project description:

Challenge: The AC Crowe Ukraine initiative, created within the corporate ESG strategy “Hello, #eco”, is designed to preserve the environment and resources of Ukraine in times of war. The key focus is partnership for sustainable development — including collaboration with Crowe Global, military units, volunteers, and society at large. “Preserved Land” is not just about the environment. It is about the power of partnership. When business unites with the international community, the military, volunteers, and society,  a new vision of recovery is born. We are building a sustainable Ukraine together.

Solution: 

• Educational campaigns for the team and the business community: 

Rising awareness about environmental responsibility during wartime through a series of videos, infographics and social media posts with an emphasis on simple steps that have a significant impact.

• Material support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine:

Providing necessary materials for the arrangement of positions, including environmentally sustainable solutions.

• Partnership with military units:

Providing materials for reuse for defense needs — in particular, recycling corporate banners to strengthen dugouts and defensive structures.

• Innovative waste reuse:

Collection of used e-cigarettes among employees. Thanks to cooperation with volunteers, they were transformed into flashlights for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Result: Financial assistance provided for the equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine premises. Increasing environmental awareness in society. Strengthening intersectoral cooperation between business, international organizations, the army and volunteers. A multi-channel fast charging unit was purchased for the 56th separate brigade. Over 30 kg of banners were handed over to the military; over 100 lanterns were manufactured for the military; more than 5,000 were reached by an advertising campaign on social media.
