Philanthropy has been an integral part of PIPS school projects since the inception. But their team of teachers set a larger task: how to teach naturally and at the same time integrate charitable projects into the educational process on a large scale? PIPS strives to make philanthropy and helping those in need a part of their student’s learning and life, as well as providing PIPS students with invaluable experience of immersing themselves in the problems of our community and creating conditions for students to independently search for ways to solve them.

Based on the organization’s goals, they decided to give a charitable direction to the projects that the students implemented during their participation in the SEPIA project. This was a regular and systematic project activity of students in interest groups aimed at the implementation of the 17 Global Goals. Many goals involved helping the needy or opening up a whole range of opportunities for charitable initiatives. During the year, the school had to implement several philanthropic projects related to the Global Goals.

At the fair on October 1, they sold the results of school projects and raised UAH 32,857. In cooperation with volunteers, turnstiles and special helmet lights were purchased for the Armed Forces, and the car was repaired. For the “Ark” animal shelter, they collected a hundredweight of feed, medicine, and detergents. PIPS created paintings and sold them at an auction in its community, raised UAH 10,000, and donated to the “Best Friend” Foundation for displaced persons to buy a boiler and install it in the dormitory.
