Challenge: The La Suzy Period Proud campaign addresses challenges like the stigma surrounding periods, lack of menstrual health education, and limited access to affordable sanitary products. It aims to empower women and girls to talk openly about menstruation, promote menstrual hygiene awareness, and ensure that no one feels shame or faces barriers because of their period.
Solution: La Suzy’s Period Proud campaign tackles these issues by providing affordable, high-quality menstrual products, promoting menstrual education, and breaking taboos through awareness campaigns. It empowers women to embrace their periods confidently and ensures access to safe, sustainable hygiene solutions for all.
Result: So far, the La Suzy Period Proud campaign has held over 60 talks on menstrual health and distributed period packs to more than 300 girls from low-income communities. These efforts have helped raise awareness, reduce stigma, and improve access to essential menstrual hygiene products.
