Project description:

Challenge: In Ukraine, over 20,000 veterans with lower-limb amputations lack access to sports rehabilitation. Limited resources and infrastructure make it impossible to provide the adaptive practices necessary for full physical and psychological recovery. The company is challenging systemic barriers, i.e., dreaming of a team that will represent Ukraine at the 2030 Paralympics while reshaping public perceptions of veterans and people with disabilities.

Solution: Intellias has joined the development of para ice hockey in Ukraine through a memorandum with the Lviv City Council and the Para Ice Hockey Federation. The company supports Nezlamni, Ukraine’s first sledge hockey team, by providing proper training conditions, equipment, and organizational support. The project fosters the rehabilitation of veterans and people with disabilities, develops their physical and social skills, and prepares them for international competitions and training camps. 

Result: Intellias signed a Memorandum with the Lviv City Council and the Federation of Para Ice Hockey of Ukraine, invested UAH 1M in the Nezlamni team, equipped 15 players with gear and uniforms, and supported the creation of brand identity. The company co-organized a national tournament and training camp. The project gained over 30 media mentions, raised awareness about inclusion, and now focuses on further development and international support for athletes.
