Neopalymi

Neopalymi

Project description:
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine in 2014 many have needed external rehabilitation and treatment of deformational trauma, particularly burns and scars.
Neopalymi is a national program providing help for people who have suffered deformities as a result of the war. Currently, more than 150 patients are receiving assistance under the project, with an annual capacity of about 1000 patients.
The project works closely with the state in all spheres, and as of now, it is a contractor with the state in the treatment of people who have suffered deformities as a result of the war.
Having accumulated civilian experience as well as combat trauma treatment, the project’s specialists are now able to share their experience with international colleagues, and soon the National Consensus for the Treatment of Post-Combat Burns and Scars will be published in the United States, which was developed with the involvement of leading world experts, but in which Ukrainian doctors have played a central role.
Currently, the main goal of the project is to create an external rehabilitation center that can serve as both a medical facility and a research center for people with deformational burns or scarring injuries. The company is now actively working on the preparatory stage, as well as on establishing the work of the existing ecosystem and normalizing the phenomenon of deformity in society through informational campaigns and photo shoots.
