Mobile Doctors

Mobile Doctors

Project description:

Mobile Doctors is a project which delivers quality medical services to the residents of liberated communities in Ukraine. Conceived by the Fortitude UA team and financed by TECHIIA, it created three mobile medical clinics, which adhere to Ministry of Health standards. These clinics provide the services of doctors-specialists offering free care to communities in need.

TECHIIA allocated 9 million UAH to purchase and equip the clinics. Each clinic has three medical offices with doctors providing consultations, ultrasound scans, EKGs and laboratory tests. They are equipped with a diesel generator, voltage stabilizer and water heater, ensuring self-sufficiency.

TECHIIA also financed a clinic’s deployment to the village of Nova Basan in Chernihiv, which was under Russian occupation in February-March 2022. Here, 138 patients received consultations from various specialists and diagnostic tests, along with necessary medications. The plan is to continue monthly visits with further scaling, improving access to healthcare for these communities.

Partners:
