Live Towards

Live Towards

Project description:
Challenge: According to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, as of April 2024, there are more than 1,200,000 war veterans in Ukraine. Of these, more than 110,000 people have various forms of disability. This number is constantly growing. Unfortunately, upon returning home, veterans face many challenges, namely the consequences of injury, psychological trauma, and difficulties in adapting to civilian life. Often, society does not understand their feelings and needs, which leads to feelings of isolation.
Solution: Veterans do not have to face the challenges of reentry alone. The company created the platform, called “Live Towards” as a set of initiatives united by the goal of enabling civilians and veterans to take steps towards each other for quality integration and interaction. The war veterans themselves are involved in the development of the platform, as they participate in the discussion, testing, and filling of project content. The company also united Ukrainian veteran communities in the project.
Result: During the first year of the project’s existence:
- Chatbot “Financial Restart” is a program to improve financial literacy. 4,400 veterans participated.
- Financial Hub holds offline/online meetings on economic topics. 108,000 participants.
- TG channel gathers a community of like-minded people. 9,500 subscribers.
- Grant program. 727 applications. 60 teams trained. 14 operating businesses.
- Accessibility Check is a program to build accessible small businesses. 54 applications. 10 businesses implement changes.
The company has united 122,000 veterans.
