The Challenge – the low innovative competitiveness of the Ukrainian economy, the lack of a modern digital infrastructure for the implementation of high-tech projects, the risk of sustaining the technological backwardness in the post-war period, the need to accelerate investments in breakthrough scientific projects.

Solution – the modern digital infrastructure of Ukraine’s sustainable innovational ecosystem should include a digital platform which supports talents and innovative projects from concept to commercialization. This platform should bring together the interests of individuals, academic and educational institutions, businesses, civil society, government and local communities. It will serve as an accelerator for innovations, an institutional mediator between project initiators and stakeholders, a laboratory of ideas, an open space for collaborative research and cooperation, an expert analytical center, a hub for innovation transfer and a team management platform.

Result – a unique platform Innovation Ukraine Digital Accelerator (www.innovationukraine.com) has been developed. It currently offers 71 high-tech projects, with the capability to support decision-making and facilitate communication through its innovation knowledge base, artificial intelligence system, algorithmic project management and analytics. Its operation will promote academic entrepreneurship, ensure the rapid commercialization of research products and create new job opportunities.
