Independent Energy Hubs

Independent Energy Hubs

Project description:
Challenge: Ukraine and the wider regions face a critical shortage of modern EV charging infrastructure, especially in small towns and along major transport corridors. Weak power grids, high capital costs, and reliance on fossil fuels slow down the growth of e-mobility and limit community access to clean energy and sustainable transport solutions.
Solution: The company is deploying independent energy hubs that combine solar generation and battery storage to balance grid loads and ensure reliable operation. Integrated with ECOFACTOR fast-charging stations, these hubs deliver continuous, renewable power even in weak grids, reduce peak demand, and make EV charging accessible and sustainable for communities across Ukraine and beyond.
Result: By 2027, ECOFACTOR will establish a network of 50+ independent energy hubs across Ukraine. These sites will provide fast charging for both passenger and freight EVs, powered by solar generation and battery storage. The network will cut CO₂ emissions, strengthen energy system resilience, and make the transition to sustainable mobility accessible to communities nationwide.
