iLearn. Free Ukrainian Online Learning Platform

iLearn. Free Ukrainian Online Learning Platform

Project description:

Challenge: In Ukraine, access to quality education is deeply unequal between urban and rural students. Many students from small towns and disadvantaged backgrounds lack opportunities for effective preparation for the National Multisubject Test (NMT), limiting their chances of entering universities and reducing social mobility.

Solution: Osvitoria created iLearn, a free online platform for Ukrainian students to prepare for the National Multisubject Test without private tutoring. It offers interactive courses, practice tests, video lessons, and live webinars with top teachers, ensuring equal access to quality education for all students, regardless of location or financial background.

Result: Since 2018, iLearn has registered over 272,000 students, with more than 1.2 million users accessing open materials. Its video lessons have over 40 million views. The platform reaches 11% of all NMT participants, demonstrating that free online education can level the playing field for students from cities, rural areas, and conflict-affected regions, increasing their chances of university admission.
