Project description: 

Farmak has implemented a social project for the safety of young pedestrians on the road.

As part of the Farmak. Light for Life project, the company provided all of the students of the Shostka City Territorial Municipality with reflective elements, giving more than 7,000 bracelets to schoolchildren.

Additionally, as part of the initiative, students watched an educational video that explains in an accessible manner how to minimize pedestrian risks during the dark hours of the day.

This project aims to draw the attention of pedestrians to road safety, which has become even more critical due to the war. According to the Patrol Police of Ukraine, the most common road incident involves pedestrian accidents. In some regions of Ukraine, the number of road accidents in 2023 has increased up to 60% compared to the same period last year.
