Project description: 

In June 2023, EVERLEGAL and USAID/ENGAGE joined forces to launch a vital nationwide educational initiative. This project aimed to equip citizens, local and national CSOs, and SMEs with essential knowledge about martial law and regulatory changes during wartime. It also provided practical guidance on navigating life, work, and volunteer activities during martial law, addressing new challenges effectively.

In just three months, EVERLEGAL executed an extensive project, blending online and offline components across various Ukrainian cities.

During that time it has:

• Conducted 12 events, comprising 4 offline and 8 online sessions.
• Covered over 20 critical topics, tailored to three distinct categories: citizens, CSOs and SMEs.
• Offered offline legal assistance to more than 100 organizations (CSOs) and companies (SMEs) in various Ukrainian cities. 
• 1,753 participants took part in online training sessions, equipping them with essential legal knowledge. 

Its innovative approach encompassed: 

• Addressing the needs of citizens, businesses and CSOs concurrently, with a robust theoretical foundation adapting to wartime changes.
• Focusing on practical, real-world challenges encountered by participants.
• Developed tailored materials like “legal guides,” contract templates and instructions for their future use.
•  Implementing modern training methods, such as interactive Telegram chatbot quizzes 

The partnership showcases the impactful synergy of business and the public sector in aiding Ukraine and its people during challenging times.
