Dopomoha Ukraini

Dopomoha Ukraini

Project description:

In the wake of the war in Ukraine, millions of Ukrainian citizens rushed to European countries for refuge. According to UNHCR, by October 2022 over 160,000 Ukrainians had already entered Georgia, which served as both a transit and a destination country. As of today, some 26,000 are still in Georgia.

The project “Dopomoha Ukraini” was created as an informational platform to provide various services and assistance, including free accommodation, catering and medical services.

The information platform was launched on 9 March 2022 as a social media page and a group that was followed by the launch of the webpage dopomoga.ge on 2 April 2022.

To this day Dopomoha Ukraini remains the only information platform that contains all necessary information in a single location.

As well, our Ukraine platform makes it easier for Georgians to help Ukraine and Ukrainians by sharing their needs and outlining opportunities for support.
