Digital Platform Unified Window for Citizens

Digital Platform Unified Window for Citizens

Project description:

Challenge: The Unified Window for Citizens” is a digital platform that has replaced the paper-based procedures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs since 2020. Previously, receiving services required personal visits, created barriers for people with disabilities, residents of remote areas, and low-mobility groups, and increased the risks of corruption. The online service provides fast, transparent, and inclusive access to public services, saving time and resources for citizens and the state.

Solution:  The “Unified Window for Citizens” is an online platform that makes public services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs simple and accessible without queues and paper procedures. There are already more than 15 services here, ranging from a criminal record certificate to vehicle registration and weapons permits. The platform is constantly expanding, adding new services that citizens need most. It is transparent, convenient, and truly for the people.

Result: The platform has reduced paper usage and the number of trips to institutions, which has reduced resource consumption and environmental impact. At the same time, it has minimized corruption risks and administrative costs. The “Unified Window for Citizens” proves that digitalization can be a driver of sustainable development and responsible governance.
