Corporate Donor Day at PRAVEX BANK

Corporate Donor Day at PRAVEX BANK

Project description:

Challenge: In Ukraine, there is an urgent need for donated blood every day, which saves the lives of hundreds of people. Despite this, the culture of systematic donation is underdeveloped, and many hospitals lack the necessary blood supplies. For PRAVEX BANK, as part of the international banking group Intesa Sanpaolo and a participant in the UN Global Compact, an important challenge was to create a sustainable corporate project that would combine social responsibility, support for human rights, and care for life and health.

Solution: PRAVEX BANK launched Corporate Donor Day, an initiative that has been an integral part of its corporate culture for over two years. Every three months, a mobile team from the Kyiv City Blood Center visits the Bank’s head office, where PRAVEX BANK employees and friends can donate blood comfortably and safely. Well-known public figures and celebrities, including Oleksiy Sukhanov and Akhtem Seitablaiev, have also joined the project, promoting the donor movement by setting an example.

Result:

  • Over 270 bank employees became donors.
  • Over 120 liters of blood were collected, helping to save over 800 lives.
  • The initiative has become systematic, taking place every three months and fostering a culture of responsible donation.
  • Corporate Donor Day is an example of the Bank’s commitment to the UN Global Compact and in support of human rights and the protection of life.
