Commu App – Social Impact – Making Asking for Help and Giving Help Easier

Project description:
Challenge: Refugees often arrive without local contacts, struggling with integration and support. Commu tackles this by fostering community-based help, promoting peace through connection, and contributing to SDG 11 “Sustainable Cities & Communities” and SDG 4 “Quality Education”.
Solution: On the first day of the full-scale Russian invasion, the company translated Commu into Ukrainian. Through NGO networks, the company reached refugees fleeing to Finland and Norway, connecting them with locals who offered housing, food aid, friendship, language help, and community support. This experience became an example of unity, mutual support, and humanity.
Result: Tens of thousands of Ukrainians have found help via Commu, including peer support, friendships, moving assistance, food, clothing, equipment, and help with learning local languages. Many have built long-term local ties, supporting both integration and development of resilient communities. In this way, Commu unites people through good deeds, strengthening peace and unity.
