Project description: 

In the third month of the full-scale war, the Caparol Ukraina team gathered to identify the challenges faced by Ukrainian society as a result of the full-scale invasion and to understand how it can assist. It conducted research and identified three key areas. Firstly, the damaged buildings require rapid repairs, since without them, they will continue to deteriorate. Secondly, state compensation programs take time, but repairs are needed urgently, and owners have limited budgets. Thirdly, there wasn’t anyone who knew how to deal with the damage.

This led to the idea of creating the Restart project. The company identified the main problems that included damage from shrapnel and fragments, smoke and water stains, partial damage to insulation systems, damaged window frames and openings, as well as cracks.

After identifying these problems, Caparol Ukraina began working on developing a product line in collaboration with the R&D center of the parent company. As a result, it created 7 unique Restart products under the Alpina Expert brand. Understanding that no one had previously dealt with such types of damage, the Caparol team created detailed instructions for solving each problem and produced video guides that visually demonstrated each step.

It needed to work with a powerful partner because it had to cover the damaged areas as quickly as possible and provide solutions on-site. This is where Epicenter came into the picture.

In total, the project was launched in record time—4 months from the moment the need was identified until the product hit the shelves.
