Coco baby food distribution in the frontline areas

Project description:
Numerous communities in the Dnipro region have suffered and continue to suffer considerable destruction due to hostilities and constant shelling by the russian military. Some districts were also damaged as a result of the destruction of the Kakhovka Dam. As a result, many businesses have ceased operations in this area. This led to problems with employment and reduced the population’s financial resources, as well as created difficulties in the supply of food and basic necessities. Local residents do not have sufficient means to buy quality food nor are there any products on sale in some settlements.
For this reason, 3 charitable organisations united their efforts to deliver baby food to children in the Dnipro region. The AGCO Agriculture Foundation financially backed the project. The MHP-Hromadi Charitable Foundation arranged the logistics and delivered the baby food from the company to the Dnipro region. And the SpivDiia Charitable Foundation made it possible to organise the distribution of COCO products directly on the ground.
Thanks to the initiative, local residents of 10 frontline communities were able to receive free COCO baby food — 12 bottles per person (at a rate of 3 bottles per day). Lists of beneficiaries were drawn up by local authorities. They also invited people to the distribution points. And the handouts were carried out by the SpivDiia’s volunteers.
Thanks to the collaborative effort, the companies managed to help families living in a constant risk zone.
