Project description: 

Since the beginning of russian full-scale invasion, Auchan Ukraine has been committed to aiding Ukraine’s population and defenders. It has been providing essential goods and rebuilding structures and housing. Goods, the production of which was suspended due to the war, were replaced with high-quality imported products.

Auchan Ukraine opened its store in Irpin on July 16, 2022.  The Bucha store reopened on November 9, 2022,  and added a pick-up zone for on-line orders.

Since March 2022 its internal charity fund has contributed over 12 million UAH to aid employees in rebuilding their homes, which were destroyed by the war. 

In addition to its business operations, it has actively engaged in humanitarian efforts. During the summer of 2022, Auchan Ukraine distributed essential products in Demydiv and Irpin, expanding to prepare and distribute over 6,000 nutritious meals to Irpin residents with the help of 100 volunteers. 

Auchan Ukraine remains dedicated to making a positive impact on its community and country and believes that despite the challenging circumstances brought about by the ongoing war, the development and reconstruction of Ukraine are not only possible but crucial.
