AID FOR UKRAINE – Beetroot Tech Relief Fund

AID FOR UKRAINE – Beetroot Tech Relief Fund

Project description:
The project collaborates with the IT business sector and the community in general to address pressing issues in Ukraine, with a particular focus on healthcare, education and social welfare. Its chief priority is to support small organizations in regions with a high number of internally displaced persons (IDPs) while providing funding for projects benefiting children and vulnerable social groups.
The project’s efforts encompass financial assistance to initiative groups that align with its mission. This assistance includes supporting the education of IDP children through investments in infrastructure, technology and scholarships, as well as providing healthcare services, including rehabilitation, for IDP children. The project also addresses immediate needs, evacuation efforts and establishes refugee centers. Working alongside its partners, the project aids Ukrainian groups in the development and implementation of proposals, which a commission then evaluates based on specific criteria to select the most deserving projects for funding.
Between 2022 and 2023, the project aims to receive 250 project applications from 16 regions, implement more than 80 projects, engage 350 group members and volunteers and secure support from over 800 IT sector donors. Through these combined efforts, it strives to benefit more than 13,000 people, primarily IDPs, and raise over 14 million UAH.
