1 000 000 for Reconstruction

1 000 000 for Reconstruction

Project description:
As a result of the full-scale invasion, Ukraine has suffered significant destruction, particularly of social infrastructure, including schools, hospitals, and administrative buildings. Many communities face a severe lack of funding to restore these vital facilities, which prevents them from returning to normal operations and makes it difficult to provide basic needs for the population. The lack of funds threatens social stability and prevents development of regions.
At the Recovery Forum organized by the Confederation builders of Ukraine, Caparol Ukraine collected information from affected communities to further provide professional consultations and recommendations for reconstruction. Four communities received certificates worth UAH 250,000 each. These certificates will enable the communities to obtain building materials equivalent to the amount for restoration of socially important infrastructure.
Currently, Caparol has one project where reconstruction is already underway and three other projects are provided with technical recommendations and selected materials, so work on reconstruction is going to start soon. In particular:
- In the Svitlovodsk Territorial Community, a bomb shelter is currently being built at a school.
- In the Chornobaivka Territorial Community, an educational and cultural complex will be restored.
- In the Borodianka Territorial Community, the building of “Blahoustrii Borodianka” communal enterprise will be restored.
- In the Kiptiv Territorial Community, the House of Culture will be restored.
